Old Hunters Lodge

Set on the edge of Whipsnade Common this is one of the oldest houses in the village thatched with reed in the Norfolk style. Said to date from the fifteenth century, Old Hunters Lodge embraces both old world charm and a modern dining experience.

We would like to thank our fantastic customers for their continued support since reopening. Tables can be booked for inside dining or you can simply turn up to be seated outside and enjoy our beautiful landscaped garden.

The Cross Roads, Whipsnade, Bedfordshire, LU6 2LN, England

Driving from London on the M1 motorway leave at junction 9, or from the north of England leave at junction 11 and follow the brown signs with an elephant picture for Whipsnade Zoo and wild animal park. We are at the other end of Whipsnade Common from the Zoo by the east Gate.
